My family & I are planning a trip to Disney world from in Feb. We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside & we would like to take a ride on the monorail. Does the monorail go from Epcot to Magic Kingdom and aprox how long would the ride take?

Hi Jamie - the monorail really is a true Disney experience that you won't want to miss.

The monorail travels from Epcot to the Ticket and Transportation Center, where you can connect to another monorail to the Magic Kingdom.  The total ride takes a half-hour or less.

Another option is to just do the resort loop around.  You can get that at the Magic Kingdom, and it will stop at the Contemporary, Ticket and Transportation Center, Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian before returning to the Magic Kingdom.  That may be a better option because kids love seeing the monorail go right through the main tower of the Contemporary!

    Have a great vacation!
