My family is planning at trip August 14-19 IIs Disney World going to extend them special ticketed event for Hollywood Studios extra magic hours into the month of August?

Hello there, Mika! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop back by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

The Disney After Hours events are among my personal favorite special events at Walt Disney World Resort and I cannot recommend them enough! These special ticketed events take place after the theme parks close and allow Guests to experience select attractions and experiences at significantly reduced wait times. In addition, Guests are also welcome to all the popcorn, ice cream, and select bottled beverages they care to enjoy.

Currently, it does not seem as though there are any Disney After Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios scheduled for the month of August. That being said, both Disney After Hours at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park will be taking place during the month of your visit! I highly recommend attending a Disney After Hours event, if you have the chance. You and your family are in for an evening of magic and fun, regardless of the theme park it takes place in! If you and your family have your heart set on Disney After Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios, though, I would recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog website for any updated information regarding this event. This is the best place to catch any new information pertaining to the Disney Parks as soon as it is released!

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming vacation at Walt Disney World Resort!
