    Ana from ON Asked

Hello, Our family is planning to travel to WDW in Dec and my question is do the park allow re-entry in the same day? I am a bit concerned my kids will need some rest half way thru the day and we are staying off property. Thanks in Advance!

    Hello Ana,

I am so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question! As the mom of three, I completely understand needing a little down time or rest in the middle of a busy day at the parks. Many times, our family has taken a break at our resort hotel for a nap or even some pool time.

I am pleased to say that you can absolutely leave the parks and re-enter later that same day with your park admission. If you have the park hopper option, you could even re-enter at a different park the same day. So, rest and relax so you feel refreshed to take on an evening of more attractions, entertainment and fireworks.

If you decide that leaving and coming back would not be worth it, our family loves to take in a few attractions or shows that take us off our feet for a relaxing bit of time. Here are a few examples we love. At Magic Kingdom, enjoy the air conditioning at Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, Carousel of Progress or the Enchanted Tiki Room. Over at Epcot, Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land or Universe of Ellen's Energy Adventure are longer rides or attractions that are slower pace and give you that much needed break without leaving the park. Enjoy Finding Nemo - The Musical or Festival of the Lion King over at Disney's Animal Kingdom or Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Whatever you choose to do to get that much needed down time, I wish you the most magical time with your family.
