Hi Cassandra,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey and Minnie Mouse just danced when they heard you are planning your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
First, I hope you have already booked your vacation package with
resort hotel and theme park tickets. My family has stayed at moderate, deluxe and deluxe villa resorts. The moderate resorts are typically more affordable while the deluxe and deluxe villa resorts have more amenities.
Be sure to create a
My Disney Experience Account. Once you do so, you can link your resort hotel, dining and
Fast Pass+ reservations. If staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can book your Fast Pass+ selections 60 days in advance. My Disney Experience is my favorite planning tool of all time!
Given your children's ages, you will definitely want to make dining reservations for a few
character meals. My girls love getting photos and autographs with the characters. For character meals, I suggest Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, and Hollywood & Vine.
For your little ones, I suggest you review the
Planning Guide for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones. It will give you a list of attractions that your children might enjoy. I suggest Peter Pan's Flight, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Tomorrowland Speedway, Toy Story Mania!, Na'vi River Journey, and Kilimanjaro Safari's.
Cassandra, I am sending pixie dust to help you plan!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
