My family is planning the first every trip to Disney in June and I want to make the most of it! We will be there from June 16-21 and want to do all 4 parks. We also want to do some character experience and dining too. certain days better than others?

Hi there, Deidre! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and ask your Walt Disney World Resort question!

Congratulations on planning your family’s first ever trip to Walt Disney World Resort! I know planning such an enormous trip can be a bit overwhelming at times but you’ve come to the right place for advice!

Character Dining at Walt Disney World Resort is a great way to meet some of your favorite Disney Characters while enjoying a delicious meal! There are quite a few Character Dining experiences available so you should have no problem finding more than a few that your family can enjoy. These experiences range from dining with Disney Princesses at the elegant Cinderella’s Royal Table to enjoying a wild time with Donald Duck and his pals at Tusker House Restaurant!

Since Walt Disney World Resort draws Guests from all over the world, there aren’t really particular days that are better than others. The weekends may be a bit more crowded due to locals visiting but this doesn’t make a huge difference in my experience! Instead of making reservations based on crowd levels, I tend to plan my advanced dining reservations around which park I am planning on visiting. This can also help me decide on whether or not I want to make dining reservations inside the park or at a neighboring Disney Resort hotel

I hope this information helps you make the tough decision of which Character Dining experiences to book during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
