My family and I are planning a fall 2013 trip and are trying to decide on a resort to stay in. We will have a 3 year old so size and walking distance are major factors. We love Pop but want to try a moderate so any suggestion would be helpful!

    Hi Kris,

The smallest moderate resort is Port Orleans French Quarter. This is the moderate resort that will involve the least walking to get to the main building and the bus.

As luck would have it, POFQ is also my personal favorite moderate resort. I love the Southern charm of the themeing and the fresh made bengiets in the food court are insanely delicious. An added bonus of POFQ is its proximity to Port Orleans Riverside. If you end up being in the mood for a little stroll, you're dining and recreation options are doubled by walking over to the sister resort. And don't forget that there is boat access to Downtown Disney from Port Orleans which makes a visit there both convenient and quite pleasant.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you need any additional suggestions.
