    Hope from SC Asked

My family and I are planning a Disney Trip May 16. I am very concerned because I have lost 15 pounds with weight watchers, and I am scared that I will put back on the weight I lost the week we are there. I was hoping for some advice on good places to eat

    Hey Hope!

    Congratulations on the weight loss!

You know, one of the fabulous things about Disney World is that you will be walking..and walking...and walking.  The exercise will really help burn off extra calories if you accidentally over indulge! I usually drop a couple of pounds during a Disney trip!

Another great thing about Disney World is all of the restaurants that I've been to there have healthy options for adults and children.  The breakfast buffets usually have a wonderful selection of fruits & other low calorie options.  A quick service lunch can have salads available, or my husband and I split a meal between us. And if you are worried about portion sizes at dinner you can always order from the appetizers for your main course.

Another thing my family does is bring granola bars, bottled water and fruit in our bags. That way, even if you are tempted by something that you know isn't part of your diet you have a healthy option with you...and bonus, it saves some money!

Have a great time in Disney!
