Hi, My family planned to go Magic Kingdom during first week of August. We have 4 year old girl and7month son. I am little bit worried if the weather is going to be too hot for the baby. Any suggestions upon planning with 7month old baby during hot summer?

    Hi, Jewoan!

    What a great question!

My two kids were just about the very same ages as your two when we first visited Walt Disney World, and we often visit during August, since I am a teacher. I get it!

First, take a look at the very helpful link with suggestions for parents traveling with little ones. There, you'll find lots of useful information about attractions, itineraries and tips on stroller rentals, Baby Care Centers, Rider Switch and so much more.

When visiting Walt Disney World during the warmest months, plan your days carefully. Start your day early, when the heat is lowest. Arrange your FastPass+ options so that you enjoy an air conditioned indoor attraction between outdoor activities. Visit those Baby Care Centers, too, which have facilities for the baby as well your little princess. Book a Table-Service reservation for an early lunch so that you'll all cool down in an air-conditioned restaurant for at least an hour. Then, head back to your resort for a mid-day swim and nap, returning around dinnertime.

Take a look at these great suggestions for beating the heat when visiting Walt Disney World with little ones; my Disney Parks Moms Panel buddies shared excellent tips that will help to keep even your little prince cool in the parks this summer, Jewoan!

    Have a magical trip!
