Our family has park-hoppers & we have never been to Hollywood Studios. Our kids ages are 3, 4, 6, 8... I'm worried that there won't be much for them to enjoy there. Any thoughts on if it's worth our time, or if we should just head to another park?

Hello, Lori. Your vacation is almost here! I'm so glad that you asked about Disney's Hollywood Studios in relation to young children.

My family and I really enjoy spending time at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and if you are planning on using the Park Hopper option to visit, I would like to suggest that you at least spend an afternoon and evening at this theme park.

These are some of my 5-year old daughter's favorite activities:

    • Toy Story Midway Mania!
    • Honey, I Shrunk The Kids Movie Set Adventure
    • Disney Junior - Live on Stage!
    • Muppet*Vision 3D
    • Voyage of The Little Mermaid

Your 6- and 8-year old children might also enjoy these two attractions:
    • Star Tours: The Adventures Continue
    • Jedi Training Academy
There are also many Disney Characters available to meet your children at several locations throughout the park. Check the Times Guide for specific greeting locations and times on the day of your visit.

Make sure to spend a little time checking out The Magic of Disney Animation, too. Your children can learn about Disney character animation, and even recreate their very own Disney character sketch in the Animation Academy!

My favorite way to end the day at Disney's Hollywood Studios is to take in Fantasmic!, a nighttime fireworks show that is packed with favorite Disney Characters.

I hope that you and your family have a magical time at Walt Disney World, Lori! If you have any other questions before your trip, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Moms Panel.
