My family and parents are returning to disney in Sept. Last time we stayed at PO-french quater and the bathroom was really tight. The problem is that my dad is a large guy. Are there any other resorts on property that have more space without going broke?

Arlene, this is a great question!

Actually, I find most of the bathrooms on WDW property to be rather small. In fact, the next step up in price level from the Port Orleans French Quarter would be the Wilderness and Animal Kingdom lodges. I find the bathrooms at these hotels to be just as small as at the moderate resorts.

Larger bathrooms can be found at the Grand Floridian, Contemporary and Polynesian, however these deluxe hotels have deluxe prices. The best bathrooms are found at the Disney Vacation Club villas in the suites (1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and grand villas) attached to the master bedroom. I love these bathrooms for their size and Jacuzzi tubs.
