My family(2 par.2 grandpar 6yrs) and I will be WDW 12/25/17-12/30/17.I am so confused about planning (fast pass and dining). My son will turn 7 on 12/26/17 he has autism. The website and app to me is not user friendly. Is there someone who can help plan?

    Dear Ronyelle,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your terrific question about planning your family's upcoming trip to the most magical place on earth during the most magical time of year!

I can understand your confusion, because there are many planning elements that go into making your trip a smooth one, especially during a more busy time of year such as a holiday week. If you can get a few things firmly plotted out, the rest can be flexible and fall into place!

The most important part of your planning at this point? Advanced Dining Reservations! Are you planning on eating any Table-Service meals? If so, the reservation window is open, so you can go right ahead and try to book what works for you right away! If you are planning on only Quick-Service meals, then you don't need reservations (with a couple of exceptions).

Next, your FastPass+ window doesn't open up until October 26, based on the dates you have provided, if you are staying on site at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel (if not, then it is 30 days later). When you log onto My Disney Experience on the morning of October 26, you will want to have planned which park you would like to visit each day. You should also know which attractions are your top priorities for FastPass+,

With your son who is autistic, there may be some stimulation above and beyond what he is used to, so you might want to bring comfort measures for him.

For any technical questions concerning how to navigate the website, a call to (407) 939-5277 might give you more clarity as well!

    Have a magical time!
