My family and I are going on the 7 night Western Caribbean cruise in February on the Disney Magic. I am trying to plan a night at Palo and am trying to find any personal navigators for this cruise so I do not book on Formal or Semi Formal night. Thank You

    Welcome aboard, Erin!

I shouldn't have favorites, but I have to admit that the Disney Magic has become tops on my list ever since it underwent the magical re-imagination last fall! You're in for such a wonderful trip when you set sail on the Magic this February!

While schedules are always subject to change and should be confirmed with the agents at Disney Cruise Line when your date gets a bit closer, I can give you a pretty good idea of what to expect in regards to dining attire nights.

On seven-night sailings, typically, the first full sea day will be the Formal Night. The second (or final) sea day will typically be the Semi-Formal night. I like that they plan it this way, so we can relax after our days in the ports of call and not have to rush to get dressed up for Semi or Formal Night. After a day at sea, it's much easier to relax and find the time to get all dolled up! Check out your itinerary to see when those fall for your particular cruise and you can most likely count on that. Again, do check as you get closer to be sure.

You will enjoy your dinner at Palo. My husband and I never miss an opportunity to dine there. The experience is wonderful and the food is even better! We love that on the Magic the kitchen is open so you can see the chef at work! I'm sure you'll enjoy your meal there. If you can, you may consider a brunch there too, as we love Palo's brunch, possibly even more than the dinner! That's saying a lot!

    Have fun planning, Erin!
