My family will be on the 7-night Mediterranean cruise+Adventures by Disney add-on. I heard the days are long and that we should book the second seating for dinner. Does that mean we will get back so late that we will miss all the shows?

    Welcome aboard, Andrea!

How exciting that you'll be sailing the Mediterranean with Captain Mickey and his crew! That voyage is absolutely amazing and very action packed. Having the Adventures by Disney add-on just sets up your vacation a few notches up. You will have a blast!

My family and I loved sailing the Mediterranean, and we too, booked the second seating for dinner. We prefer watching the shows first in the evening before having dinner... maybe because we're just used to eating late :-).  If you are dining at 8:15pm (second or late seating), then your schedule to watch the evening shows will be at 6pm. So as long as you are back for 'all aboard' time every day, you should be OK. All of the Disney port adventures will get you back to the ship on time, since they know the schedule. As you can imagine, it is usually an action-packed day -- since the day excursions can be very enjoyable yet, quite extensive. There's just so much to see and so much to do!

Depending on when you sail, the weather will be nice and warm, to very hot and humid. There will be lots of walking so make sure you have very comfortable walking shoes. Some of the adventures might also have dress codes - especially if you are visiting any religious venues (no shorts & sleeveless tops in churches).

Please let us know if you need any additional information - we're always glad to help! Have an awesome vacation, Andrea!
