Hello, my family is going to MK in May for a 1 day visit and I am wondering how soon should we schedule our FastPass+? Also, any tips on being first time visitors with a 2 year old and 6 year old little girls. I am one excited MOM!!

    Hi Tyrone,

I can feel your excitement! Guess what, no matter how many times I have visited I still get that same feeling! You are going to have the time of your life.

Guests may make FastPass+ selections up to 30 days in advance and Guests staying in a Disney Resort hotel may make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days in advance. My first tip is to make your FastPass+ selections as soon as you are eligible. In order to make your FastPass+ selections you need to create a My Disney Experience account and link your Magic Kingdom theme park tickets.

My next tip is to pack for comfort. Bring snacks, water bottles, sunscreen, and make sure you wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes. Since your children are still young and you will be doing a lot of walking I suggest bringing or renting a stroller that both children can use. My children have all used a stroller at Walt Disney World through age 6 even though at home they have long given it up.

Next read through previously asked questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel about First Disney Vacation. Reading other Guest's questions may generate more questions of your own and if so, we would be happy to answer them!

Finally when planning a 1 day fun-filled adventure I like to have a good game plan to maximize my time. A website that I subscribe to is called and it offers many different touring plans and FastPass+ selection suggestions for all of the Walt Disney World theme parks.

    Have a Magical adventure!
