    Eric from TX Asked

My family and I are making our first trip to DW in December. Also, we are celebrating my birthday and our anniversary. What are some ideas to do or what are some ways to celebrate our events? Thanks

    Hi Eric,

You certainly have a lot to celebrate on your 1st trip to Disney World! Be sure to stop by Guest Relations to pick up "1st Visit", "Happy Birthday" & "I'm Celebrating" buttons.

To celebrate as a family, I'd recommend Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show, the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue (HDDR), the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage (P&P) or the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party.  Make sure you tell them about your celebrations when making your reservations.

For a personal touch, contact the Disney Floral & Gifts Department. They can help with an in-room celebration or a special delivery to a dining location. Visit them online at www.disneyflorist.com or call them at 407-WDW-GIFT.

If you want to schedule something romantic for just the two of you, book a horse drawn carriage ride at Fort Wilderness or the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Call 407-WDW-PLAY. For something extra special for the two of you, dinner Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian is off the charts amazing!

When making any advanced dining reservations (ADRs), be sure to mention that you'll be celebrating your 1st visit, birthday & anniversary. Dinner at California Grill timed to see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom rocks!  You can order a special anniversary cake by calling 407-827-2253.

There will be tons of special events for the holidays - click here for more info.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
