My family and I made reservations at Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom. My little one has severe nut allergies, their menu does not say allergy friendly and they are a private chain (not Disney restaurant), should I cancel these reservations? Thank you

Hello there, Christine! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to reach back out and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

As someone that must also navigate food allergies while on vacation, I totally understand your concern for your little one! Finding a dining location that accommodates your dietary restrictions can be very stressful during everyday life so I find it very refreshing to visit Walt Disney World Resort and have my needs accommodated!

There are a few dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort that are operated by outside vendors. Fortunately, though, many of these locations also pay very close attention to allergies and dietary restrictions! In particular, Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom does a phenomenal job accommodating Guests with food allergies. Whenever you arrive at your reserved meal, be sure to let your server know of your child's allergies. This way, you will be able to discuss allergy-free options and speak with the chef, if needed. I will note that the Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom does not have dedicated allergen menus but they will discuss available options with you so you can find a solution that fits your specific needs.

I hope this information will assist you in making your decision as you continue to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
