Our family is lucky to do a Land/Sea adventure for our 1st visit to WDW (2d at parks and 7d at sea)- with all the character experiences on the cruise, would you still recommend a character dining experience at the parks? Thanks for your help!

    Ahoy, Kim!

How fortunate for you that you will be getting TWO vacations in one!  While there are LOTS of character experiences on the Disney Cruise Line ships, there are many characters that you will not encounter at sea. Booking a character dining experience is a great way to ensure you will meet your favorites.

On the ship, you can expect to see many characters including:
    •Mickey Mouse
    •Minnie Mouse
    •Donald Duck
    •Daisy Duck
    •Chip & Dale
    •Captain Hook
    •Peter Pan
    •Snow White
    •Princess Aurora
    •Princess Tiana
    •Captain Jack Sparrow
    •Princess Anna
    •Queen Elsa

This is not an all-inclusive list, there is always the possibility that you will see an unexpected character while sailing.

If someone in your family is a fan of Winnie the Pooh, maybe you will choose to dine at the The Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom Park. During your meal, friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood might wander by your table for some prime photo opportunities. One of our other favorites is Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare, in the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. At this dinner, Cinderella's stepsisters, Anastasia & Drizella, entertain guests with their antics while Lady Tremaine glares at anyone who dares to speak to her. Cinderella and her Prince Charming also greet their dinner guests.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
