My family and I would love to go on a Disney cruise but our 8 yr. old daughter is gluten free, dairy free, egg free and peanut free. Would it be difficult for her to find food options? Hope we can make our daughters dream come true! Thank you!

Welcome aboard, Dina! I am so happy to tell you that Disney Cruise Line works very hard to ensure that all guests enjoy a fabulous dining experience onboard their ships, regardless of any allergies they might have.

Each day, the servers and chefs work with families to suggest and provide alternative menu items for those with allergies. Be sure that when you book your cruise, you make a note on your reservation detailing your daughter's allergies. This information is given to your servers who will rotate with you through each of the restaurants. You won't have to re-explain each night, as the same servers stick with you throughout the cruise for dinners.

Disney Cruise Line does suggest that guests with food allergies try to eat all of their meals in the main dining restaurants, as opposed to the buffet or quick service spots, as the kitchens are better equipped in the main restaurants to accommodate allergy needs.

You might also be interested to know that Disney does allow guests to bring on their own snacks and drinks. So, if there are some snacks or drinks that your daughter enjoys having, feel free to bring them in your carry-on bags so that you can rest assured that you always have an appropriate food or drink choice for a snack when she might want it.

I hope you decide to book a magical sailing with Disney, Dina! Have fun planning!
