My family loooves going to Disney. This year, my parents, my sister and I have a trip planned for July 5-July 12. We are four adults (my sister and I are 28 and 31), and this will be our last trip for a long time. How can we make it memorable? Thanks!!

    Hi Iliana

Just like your parents, I hope my daughters never outgrow Disney vacations with us. I'm sure that, no matter what you do, you will have a wonderful time with lots of great memories.

I always say that I don't care what we do at Walt Disney World, as long as we're together and having fun. But here are a few suggestions for things that might make your trip extra-special:
    • Consider the PhotoPass+ photo service. It assures that you get many great family photos with the whole family included. With PhotoPass+, too, you get special effects that can't be accomplished with a normal camera. And you get a CD with every photo that you all can share.
    • Speaking of photos, I've always wanted to have a family portrait done at Disney World. The ones I've seen of friends are fantastic. You can find information at www.disneyeventphotography.com/portraits.
    • Revisit restaurants that have special memories. They don't even have to be fancy or expensive meals, just places that will prompt stories from past visits.
    • Do the same with rides and attractions. Ride Dumbo, even if you don't have children with you, just so you can talk about your memories.
    • Have you ever done one of the behind-the-scenes tours? Maybe this is the trip to try the Keys to the Kingdom or the Backstage Safari or splurge on Backstage Magic

I hope those suggestions are helpful. Please let me know if I can do anything else to assist as you get ready for your visit. The most important thing is to enjoy your time as a family!
