Mom With Kids After Run

    My family (Husband, daughters ages 3 and 4 and parents) are all arriving in Disney on April 4- April 12 with 7 day PH passes. Looking for ideas for best days to go to park (preliminary planning before hours are released), so I can map out dining options.

    Melissa,

    Unfortunately, as you correctly noted, they do not have the park schedules out yet for April. I would expect that they will populate in the next few weeks, so stay tuned!

    But without knowing where the Extra Magic Hours are falling, here is where I would initially plan on going;

    April 4 - Arrival Day
    April 5 - Magic Kingdom
    April 6 - Hollywood Studios
    April 7 - Epcot
    April 8 - Magic Kingdom
    April 9 - Animal Kingdom
    April 10 - Magic Kingdom
    April 11 - Magic Kingdom
    April 12 - Departure Day

    Now remember that with that park hopper you can jump around a bit from park to park if there are dining options you really want to hit. Just remember that this is a busy time of year, so moving around takes more time than usual, due to crowd levels.

    Map out your dining preferences based on this schedule. Then, when the calendar publishes, move days around to AVOID a park that has Morning Extra Magic Hours (because of elevated crowd levels) as well as Evening Extra Magic Hours (because you are unlikely to take advantage of them with 3 and 4 year olds). This way you move away from the crowds as much as possible.

    But stick to the mix of 4 days at the Magic Kingdom, and one day each at the other three.

    Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a magical vacation!
