Hi Moms! Our family is heading to WDW in about 1 month and I am looking for an experience for my adult brother as a birthday gift. He likes sports and the characters. We've been to WDW many times so we are looking for new/fresh ideas. Thanks!

    Hey Anne,

Hello from the Show Me state.  One thing I learned about living in Missouri is that its residents are passionate about their sports and teams.  The Walt Disney World Resort has enough Sports and Recreation for every type of enthusiast.  See below for a few of my suggestions.

    1.  Golf- with four championship courses you could spend an entire vacation playing and not seeing the inside of a theme park even once. (Not recommended by the way)

    2.  Sammy Duvall's Parasailing- if your brother is the adventurous type, this might be the activity for him. Sailing high above Bay Lake, he'll enjoy a view that most people don't get to see.

    3. Surfing lessons- Maybe your brother would like to "hang 10" at his own private surfing lesson and then try his newly learned skills in the wave pool at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.

    4. You could always catch a Cardinal or Royals game at the ESPN Club and kick back and relax with some wings and beverages, if you're looking for something that's a bit tamer.

We'd like to send a shout out and "Happy Birthday" to your brother from the Moms Panel.  I hope you all have a fabulous time on your Walt Disney World vacation.

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
