Our family is heading back to WDW on 06/28 for six nights! We'd like to spend some time at one of the waterparks with DS8 and DD6. Which of the two waterparks has more age appropriate activites for kids this age?

    Hi Amy,

Wow your trip is super close!  Both waterparks are fantastic, but my boys are partial to Blizzard Beach.  There is a great "intermediate" area for kids who are a bit too big for the kiddie area called Ski Patrol Training Camp.  Here, there are tons of inner tube rides, slides, and their favorite, an obstacle course where you walk across floating pieces of "ice".  Blizzard Beach has a huge lazy river, giant pool and a fabulous Family Raft Ride, Teamboat Springs, that's great for your whole clan to enjoy.

If your kids like to surf (or pretend!) Typhoon Lagoon has an amazing wave pool and a snorkeling reef, equipped with real sharks! It too has a great lazy river and many inner tube rides and slides that are sure to keep your kids very busy, wet and happy!

Whichever you chose, have a great time!
