My family is headed to Walt Disney World in December to celebrate my 40th birthday as well as my husband's birthday. What kinds of fun things can we do to celebrate? Are there any deals or perks for being in Walt Disney World on your birthday?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Holly!

First, I would like to wish you both a very merry unbirthday! Well I suppose this counts as your actual birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Although there aren’t currently any special birthday offers, I do suggest stopping by Guest Relations for a special “I’m Celebrating” button and you may get some extra pixie dust around Walt Disney World Resort, or at the very least friendly Cast Members and other Guests giving their best wishes, which is always so much fun!

As I don’t know you are your husband, I am not 100% sure what kind of options you are looking for, so I am going to throw an array of activities your way! Are you ready? Then, as Peter Pan says “Here we gooooooo”!

-A romantic dinner for two: Victoria & Albert’s or California Grill (try to  schedule around the Happily Ever After fireworks show and ask for a table with a view!)

-An Enchanting Extras Collection adventure: A Wild Africa Trek or a Dessert Party to indulge your sweet tooth!

-An “in-room” celebration at a Disney Resort hotel: Have a specialty cake, gift basket, flowers or more sent right to your room!

-A Specialty Cruise: Why not become a pirate on the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage, matey?

-If you aren’t looking to add to the budget (too much), perhaps you would like to spend the day (or night) eating or drinking your way around World Showcase!

If you are looking for a more personalized experience, then I suggest visiting Disney Floral and Gifts online or calling (407) WDW-GIFT.

I hope that I have given you a few ideas to think about! Have a magical vacation and please visit us again soon!
