Hello. My family is headed to Disney World in a few weeks, and this is our first time using the meal plan. Can snack credits only be used at the locations where they accept meal credits, or are there more options for snacks? Is there a list somewhere?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Courtney! Thank you so much for bringing us your question about the dining plan! My family never goes without one!

Snack credits can be used at Quick-Service restaurants, most Outdoor Carts and select merchandise locations. They usually include a single serving of items such as:

-Frozen ice cream novelty, popsicle or fruit bar
    -Popcorn scoop
-12 oz. coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea
    -Prepackaged milk or juice
    -Piece of whole fruit
    -Bag of snacks
    -20 oz. bottle of Coca-Cola®, Sprite® or Dasani® water
    -20 oz. fountain soft drink

Remember that you can track your dining plan entitlements via the My Disney Experience app. First, visit the “My Resort Stay” section of the app. Then, select “Check Dining Plan” to view the status of your dining plan entitlements—the total you were issued, those already redeemed and the ones you still available. Keep in mind also, that you will be able to order food at select locations and skip the line, by using mobile ordering from the app on your device.

Courtney, I hope this information is helpful. Please come back with more questions; we love to help!

Wishing you a memorable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
