My family is headed to Disney for our third time in April 2014. I have made some selections using the FastPass+ system, but I am wondering if we can use the regular FastPass system in addition to this? Also, is FastPass+ available for dining yet?

    Hi Deann,

As of a few weeks ago, all legacy paper FastPasses have been removed from Walt Disney World. There are no "regular" FastPasses remaining. FastPass+ is your only option for ride reservations. I got back last night from my first FP+ only trip to WDW. I have to say that I was a bit nervous about how it would all work, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I found that the FP+ system worked very well for me and the standby lines for other attractions were quite manageable.

As for dining, Disney has done some test offerings of FP+ for lunchtime meals at the Be Our Guest restaurant at the Magic Kingdom. To the best of my knowledge, this option is not currently being offered, though it's certainly possible that it could return at a later date. For table service dining, you're still able to make reservations for meals either online or by phone at 407-WDW-DINE.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
