Hi there! We are family of 4 having a trip to Disneyland next month. Do we all require passes to purchase our tickets for the parks or just one for the whole family? Thanks

Howdy, Natasha! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.

I am delighted to hear that you and your family will be traveling to the Disneyland Resort soon! Visiting during the Holidays always makes for very magical memories. Theme park tickets are required for each and every member of your family that is 3 years old or older. Any children under 3 years old are considered Guests of Mickey and do not require a ticket. Children tickets are available for Guests ages 3 through 9. Anyone 10 years old or older will need an adult ticket. I suggest purchasing your tickets in advance online or on the Disneyland app. When you select the eTicket option at check out or if you purchase on the app, you can head straight to the park gates when you arrive for your first day of fun, no need to stop at a ticket booth. Your eTickets will then be exchanged for paper tickets at the gate.

Speaking of the Disneyland app, be sure to familiarize yourself with the app before your visit. It will be your absolute best tool for navigating the parks efficiently. It will show you current attraction wait times, where and when to meet your favorite characters, locations of Disney PhotoPass photographers, and so much more! If you add Disney MaxPass to your tickets, you can even use the app to make FASTPASS selections from anywhere in the parks.

If you have any other questions as you plan your adventure, please visit us again. See ya real soon!
