We are a family of 5 and are having a hard time finding a room to stay in at the resort. It seems that the rooms/packages are geared to the family of 4. HELP? I want to stay at the resorts but I don't want to be priced out into a suite style room.

Lynnette, Disney does offer some resort hotels that can accommodate families of five.  It would be helpful to know the ages of your children, but here are some options for you to check into.

The All-Star Music resort offers family suites that can sleep up to six plus one child under the age of three in a pack-n-play portable crib.

Port Orleans Riverside can accommodate families of five in the Alligator Bayou section.  Those rooms are equipped with two double beds and a trundle (smaller than a twin-sized bed) that slides out from under one of the beds.

Ft. Wilderness has cabins that sleep up to six.  They offer a separate bedroom with a double bed and bunkbeds, a full kitchen, and even a small deck area with a BBQ grill.  There is also a pull-down Murphy bed in the living area.

Most, of the standard rooms in deluxe resorts can also accommodate a family of five.  Notable exceptions are the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Wilderness Lodge.

Hopefully these suggestions will give you a good place to start your search.  Good Luck!
