We are a family of grandparents, parents and four children ages 10, 8, 5 and 3. If we buy a ticket and someone sick can ticket be used another day?

    Hi Brenda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love that the whole family is going to Walt Disney World Resort! Nothing makes me happier than bringing along my parents,  husband and kiddos when we go to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I hope you're preparing everyone to have the most enchanting vacation!

I totally understand the importance of your question. In the past when we've taken a large group with us, I've fallen ill and needed a day to rest and take it easy at our Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Theme Park tickets are nonrefundable; however, if you know Disney, you know fairytales have happy endings. Theme Park Tickets expire 14 days after first use. This means, if you never used a day to begin with, no dates are actually yet attached to them; unless of course they are a special offer ticket that specify an expiration date. Once you scan your ticket to enter any of the four Theme Parks, you have 14 days until they expire. That means even if a family member has gone to Magic Kingdom Park one day and then takes a couple of days for some rest and relaxation, they still have a solid few days left to make up for the lost fun until their Theme Park tickets expire and turn into pumpkins. --Sorry, I couldn't help myself there!

If anyone in your family begins to feel sick during your Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park visits, look for the First Aid centers. These are located in all four Theme Parks and are so very helpful. They have over-the-counter medications and nurses are available, so you can go back to having a magical vacation.

Brenda, I'm sending you and your family lots of pixie dust so you don't have to miss any fun days of your vacation! Have a magical trip!
