With my family and friends will be visiting WDW on Easter week 2018. Unfortunately, it is only possible to book hotels until December 2017. When will reservations open for March 2018?

    Hello Enrique!

Thank you for bringing another question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I also enjoy planning my family visits to the Walt Disney World Resort well in advance.

It is currently not possible to make online hotel and package reservations for 2018, but I suggest that you keep checking back as they should become available soon. I also advise you to talk to your travel agent. We visited in January 2016, and made our reservations through a travel agent in late June, 2015.

If you really want to secure your favorite Disney Resort hotel for your Easter visit, you can make a room-only reservation up to 499 days of your intended check-in date by calling (407) WDISNEY or (407) 934-7639. You will be charged a night’s stay based on current rates, and when the rates and package details for the dates of your visit become available your rate will be adjusted.  You will then have the option to convert your room-only reservation into a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, and add admission tickets and even a Disney Dining Plan.

During the time of your visit you will be able to enjoy Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, and see the gorgeous chocolate egg displays at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. They were absolutely beautiful this year, so let’s hope they are back in 2018!

Final tips: make a special Easter breakfast or brunch reservation. This year’s participating locations included two of my favorites: Cape May Cafe and Captain's Grille. Check the Disney Parks Blog for updates on Easter events as your visit gets closer.

I hope this helps you while planning! Come back to visit us real soon!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
