    My family are frequent travelers to WDW and keep our Magic bands but it appears that Disney no longer lets you decline Magic bands. Is there a different way that I can decline the bands so we don't receive ones we won't use?

    Aren't MagicBands the best? I'm so happy I no longer need to carry separate theme park tickets, resort room keys, credit cards, AND FastPass tickets. I feel so much lighter as I travel around the parks!

    During the Online Resort Check-in process for your Walt Disney World Resort, you should have the option to decline a new set of MagicBands. I just double-checked my upcoming vacation reservation in My Disney Experience and still see this option. If you've already completed Online Resort Check-in, you'll choose the "Modify Your Check-in" option located under the resort information. On the very next page, the top option will be "MagicBand Order" with the following text:"Reusing MagicBands may enable you to go directly to your room upon arrival. Because your party already has MagicBands from a previous visit, you may decline this order." Simply use the check box to opt-out.

    If for any reason this option doesn't appear, or you are unable to select it, you can contact the My Disney Experience and MagicBand team for assistance at (407) 939-4357.
