Hi. My family of four will be cruising the Disney Wonder over Easter 2011. Our daughters are 4 and 6 years old. We celebrate with an Easter Bunny, egg dying and egg hunts. Does Disney do anything like this on the ship, or should we pack baskets? Thanks.

    Hi Kel,

You must be booked on the 10-Night Mexican Riviera Cruise, how exciting!  Although I've never sailed over Easter, from what I hear you can expect to see some special decorations - but there is not a major emphasis on the holiday. Customarily things run as normal, and you won't necessarily find specialized activities onboard - of course that is subject to change....but I would come prepared!  A religious service will more than likely be available that day, so be sure to check your Personal Navigator.

If I were on this voyage with my little ones - I would pack baskets, or to save space maybe get some of the small collapsible cubes or tote bags.  It typical for the cruise line to offer specialty gifts for holidays and special occasions - I would keep an eye on the Gifts & Amenities page for Easter offerings.

    I hope this helps!
