Hi we are a family of four coming on our first trip to Disney staying in Epcot we want to leave early for the parks so are there any places we can grab counter service for breakfast thank you.

    Hi Eric,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you should be able to pick up breakfast before heading to the parks. I would first suggest that you review the quick-service dining options at your resort hotel. When we leave early for the parks, however, we also sometimes just eat our own snacks in the room before we leave. I usually bring instant oatmeal and cereal bars and I use the coffee maker to heat up water for the oatmeal.

Depending on whether or not we are visiting a park with early morning Extra Magic Hours, we typically leave the room by 7:30 a.m. Be sure to check the Park Hours for the dates of your visit. I also take a few snacks with us to the parks. We usually do our first three Fast Pass+ selections by lunchtime and then eat lunch in the parks. At Epcot, there are several quick-service options but one of our favorites is Sunshine Seasons. They currently serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Eric, if you plan to eat at a few table-service restaurants, be sure to make advanced dining reservations. Restaurants get booked quickly, especially for character meals. We love to dine at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for a pre-park opening breakfast reservation. On our last visit, we finished by about 9:10 a.m. then hopped in the standby line for Frozen Ever After to tour Arendelle. We then we visited with Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus. It was a perfect royal morning!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
