My family and I are flying into Orlando at 10:15AM, we want to go to Chef Mickey's, then Magic Kingdom before we check in at Caribbean Beach Resort. Will they hold our luggage till our room is ready and then put the luggage in our room? Thank you!

    Hi Brenda,

You have a packed first day of vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort and I love it! Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is where my husband and I honeymooned many years ago.

One of the best things about staying at a Walt Disney World Resort is Disney's Magical Express. This bus service takes you from Orlando International Airport to your Walt Disney World Resort. Even better is that if you checked luggage, you will tag it at home, drop it off at your airline at the airport and then it will magically appear in your room.

Since Disney's Magical Express only travels between Orlando International Airport and the resorts, you will make a stop at the Caribbean Beach first. You can check-in and have them store any carry-on luggage you may not want in the parks until you return later. Make sure your MagicBands are in your carry-on.

Finally, you may want to book your reservation at Chef Mickeys no earlier than 1:00 pm. You will need to allow for transportation to your resort and then out to Magic Kingdom. You can take the monorail or the quick ten minute walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

    Wishing you a magical day!
