My family had our first visit early last Dec 2010. The parks were pretty crowded, with record high attendance. We thought that early Dec was usually one of the best times to go because crowds were low. How can I find out what attendance was at that time?

Nikki, I was never good at math or statistics (<-- understatement of the year). Fortunately, others were. Especially the team over at TouringPlans.com.

If you visit TouringPlans.com and subscribe to the site (worth the itty bitty charge,) you can access historical crowd info by day, month and year all the way back to 2006. Just look for the link to "Historical Crowds" on the Crowd Calendar page.

If you're planning an upcoming trip, the Crowd Calendar (and touring plans) are indispensible for maximizing your time in the parks.
