Family 1st First Visit to DW: The weather forecast says it will rain the day/evening I booked the Illuminations Dessert Party. Is the show cancelled during showers? Is the party inside somewhere with windows or under a shelter? It will also be cold.

    Hi Louise!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and congratulations on your upcoming first visit! The IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party is a wonderful way to end a magical day at Epcot. I can't think of a better way to enjoy IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth than with a variety of desserts and sparkling wines from all around World Showcase.

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth may be changed or canceled without prior notice due to inclement weather. The IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party venue is uncovered. According to the Know Before You Go section on the IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party page, "In the event of inclement weather, the dessert portion will take place at an alternate indoor location. A Cast Member will direct you to the alternate location at the time of check-in. You may call (407) 560-7377 after 5:30 PM for recorded weather information."

I hope you and your family enjoy the IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party. Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions regarding your Walt Disney World vacation.

    Have an extra magical day!
