Hi! My family of 5 is very excited to be visiting in March 2014! We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Are there any rooms at Riverside that you recommend as closer catching the bus for the parks to minimize walking for our small children?

Hi, Devan! There are two sections of Port Orleans Riverside Resort.  In the Magnolia Bend section, Oak Manor is nearest to the Resort center, but Magnolia Terrace is also a good location. The second section is Alligator Bayou, and in it buildings 14, 15, and 18 are closest to the Resort center. However, no room is more than a three- or four-minute walk to a bus stop. There are four bus stops at this Resort. The main South depot is located at the Resort center. The other three are along the Resort's perimeter.  At the morning, there can be large crowds waiting to board the buses at the South depot after breakfast. During the busiest times of the day, the Riverside buses can be full or standing room only before they reach the last stop (the East Depot). Therefore, especially in the morning, you may want to board at the South Depot.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
