My family will be enjoying WDW 5/29-6/5. It is a special trip to honor my 9-yr-old daughter, as she saved my life by calling 911 after I fell. We want to do something extra special for her while we are there. Can you suggest something special for my hero?

    Hello Kathy,

I am so glad to hear that you are doing well!

I don't think there's quite any way you to really thank someone who has saved a life. But as Walt Disney said, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." And it seems your daughter is one courageous young lady!

So I think an appropriate way to show her your gratitude is with a medal of honor - Disney style. The Dream Makers have Honor Your Hero, which includes a medal adorned with Mickey Mouse, a book of Disney quotes, and a personalized declaration signed by the Head Mouse himself. Second to a vacation to the most magical place on Earth, the medal will truly show your daughter how you feel about her special deed.

    Hope this helps!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
