My family will be eating at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella. I understand it is a buffet style meal. My wife recently had bariatric surgery and can not eat much. Can she just join us and not eat or do we have to pay for her to eat and she just sit there?

Hi, Charles! As a bariatric patient myself, I know that Walt Disney World has a great policy for us. Your wife should bring her weight-loss surgery card issued by her doctor or hospital with her to the Walt Disney World restaurants.  She will show it to her serving Cast Member to pay the children's price for a buffet or to allow her to order off the children's menu at non-buffet meals. If she chooses not to eat at all, some restaurants (especially character experiences) charge an entertainment fee. Just ask the Cast Member serving you what the policy is for that restaurant. It might be more economical to purchase the child-priced meal.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
