Hello! My family and I are doing our first runDisney event in January and we are so excited! My question is about the Mickey Mile. Does our little mousketeer run by himself, or is my husband allowed to run along side him? Thanks!

    Hello, Kara!

Welcome to the wonderful world of runDisney! I love hearing from guests that are preparing for their very first event. I especially love you are going to be making this a family affair. After all, everyone in the family needs a medal to proudly wear around the parks :)

Your Mouseketeer will not need to run alone, your husband will be more than welcome to run alongside him. If he does, I suggest you spectate the race from Champion Stadium. It will be the perfect location for you to be able to spot your guys as they enter the stadium and run around warning track. You should also be able to get some great photos! Once they've passed through, you can head to the finish-line at the New Balance Track & Field Complex to meet them.

I remember very well what it was like trying to plan my family's first race-cation, so please do not hesitate to stop by and ask any other questions you may have.

I hope you all have a magical race!
