My family is going to DisneyWorld for the first time in July.My children are 4, 8,and 13.I haven't been there in 20yrs and my husband has never been and really has no interest. We will be there 8 days.Feeling overwhelmed in planning. What are the must does?

I love answering these types of questions. There is so much to do at Walt Disney World for the whole family. One thing I like to do is get them involved in the ride choices. I will ask each child to choose something they want to do or see or even a place they want to eat, even your husband. There are great thrills for everyone. From Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom to the all new Star Tours at Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS). If they like roller coasters they will love the Rock n Roller Coaster at DHS. If they want to be scared the Haunted Mansion and Tower of Terror await. There are also some great family classics like the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean and the newly refurbished Dumbo the Flying Elephant that create timeless memories. You can make a special visit to meet the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse, at the Town Square Theater on Main Street U.S.A. In addition to the parks, the resorts offer some world class golf, fishing and so many other sporting opportunities. I could spend an entire day at Downtown Disney with it's world class food and entertainment. Or, I could spend a day relaxing at either one of the fun water parks or at one of the wonderful pools at the world class resorts. My point is, there is so much to do, or not do, at Walt Disney World that you can totally make it magical for everyone in your family.
