My family and I are going to Disney World in February 2017. We are kicking the idea of purchasing a dining plan. Staying 4 nights. We wouldn't need the plan for the day we travel down or back home. Any way to customize dining plans?

    Hi Scooter!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of the reasons I love to use a Disney Dining Plan during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations is the flexibility the plan allows for us to use dining credits throughout our trip. If you are using a dining plan, you will receive one set of credits for each person on your trip for each night of your reservation. There is currently no way to modify the number of credits you receive on your plan. So for your trip, you will receive four sets of meal entitlements for each person on your reservation. You can choose to use those credits however you wish during your trip and you are not required to use one set of credits per day.

So for example, if you selected the Disney Dining Plan for your 2017 vacation, you would receive four quick service credits, four table service credits and 8 snack credits per person on your reservation. You could choose to enjoy a quick service meal for dinner on the first night of your vacation after you check-in to your hotel and then perhaps enjoy a table service meal for breakfast on the last day of your vacation before you hit the road. Or, you could plan a fantastic meal at a Signature restaurant, which requires two table service credits, if you think you will have extra table service credits.

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your magical vacation! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
