My family and I are going to Disney World in April for spring break. We are there for 3 nights and want to make the most of our time. Do you have some pointers? Ages are 9,7,6, and 17 months

    Hi Vincent,

My family and I often visit Walt Disney World during Spring Break.  We have found a few things that help us make the most of our time.

First, I suggest that you arrive at the theme park early.  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, which allow admittance into a specified Disney theme park one hour early on select days.  Whether you are arriving for the regular park opening or Extra Magic Hours, I suggest that you try to get there 30 minutes before scheduled opening. The theme parks tend to get more crowded as the day goes on, so by arriving earlier, you will be able to do some of the more popular attractions with a shorter wait.  One of my greatest memories is watching my brother, who had just flown in from the West Coast, walk up Main Street, U.S.A. holding hands with my daughter at 7:05 a.m. during Extra Magic Hours during Spring Break.

Also, take advantage of the FastPass+ system.  FastPass+ will allow you to choose a window of time in which to experience attractions with little wait, and is currently being rolled out and tested in the Disney theme parks.  I suggest that you make yourself a My Disney Experience account and monitor it to see if you are chosen to make your FastPass+ selections ahead of time.  You should link your resort reservation and your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account.  Currently, guests who are not selected to choose FastPass+ attractions before they arrive at the theme parks are given the opportunity to do so once they have arrived at the theme parks.  This is still in a testing phase, so is subject to change.

I would love to help you plan more Vincent; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
