Hi! We (a family of 13) are going out to Disney the week between Christmas and New Years and have a 5 day park hopper. What is the best way to plan our days during the holiday?

Hi there, Destini! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My first visit ever to the Disneyland Resort was during the Holiday Season. Since then, it has always been my favorite time to visit! It is a good idea to have a plan. I also suggest to be flexible, should conditions vary. Up to 60 days prior to your visit, you can start making dining reservations you may want. A character dining experience or a dining package with a show such as Fantasmic! would provide some amazing family memories together. Up to 30 days in advance, you may make reservations for guided tours you may want. Our family loved sipping hot cocoa and nibbling gingerbread cookies while watching the parade as a part of the "Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort" Guided Tour.

Five days in the parks will give you time to enjoy many of the magical entertainment, dining and attraction offerings of the Disneyland Resort. With Park Hopper tickets you’ll have the flexibility to easily visit the other park to suit various attraction and show requests from your party and still keep any reservations you have in place, regardless of location. If you have Disney MaxPass added to your park tickets, you’ll even be able to use your mobile device to make Disney FASTPASS reservations to attractions in either park from wherever you are after entering a park! Plus, with MaxPass, you’ll enjoy complimentary downloads of all of your family’s Disney PhotoPass photos!

I know you’ll have a wonderful time making family memories. Happy holidays, Destini!
