My family of 5 and I are going to disney Dec.12-Dec.18. I was just wondering if someone could help me with figuring out what parks would be best to visit on certain days. Also, is the christmas party at magic kingdom busier on sunday or week day. thanks

    Hi Sonya,

I had not visited Walt Disney World during the holidays until last December. I think you and your family will absolutely love it. Without knowing your family's priorities, it's hard to recommend which park to visit on which day. If your primary concern is crowds, TouringPlans.com has great advice on choosing a park schedule. Sometimes my schedule is decided for me by when I can get the dining reservations I want for our vacation. If you would like to provide a bit more information about your family and their hopes for the visit, I would be happy to try to help you with your schedule!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a fantastic way to jump into the holiday spirit! I think the parties do get more crowded the closer it gets to Christmas, and weekends are usually busier than weeknights. While out in the real world I would consider Sunday night a week night or school night, when at Disney World I would consider Sunday part of the weekend.

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
    Happy Planning,
