Hi! Our family of 4 will be going on our 1st Disney cruise in March. Which adventure in Atlantis would best suit us to be able to visit the beaches, pools, etc. Would we need any car seats to travel from the ship to Atlantis?

    Ahoy, Trudie!

Your family is going to have the most magical March ever since you're setting sail for your first Disney Cruise! I hope you are enjoying the planning process and have found the Disney Parks Moms Panel a helpful resource along the way.

It sounds like you are headed to the Bahamas on your voyage in just a few months. There are a few options for your crew to consider at the Atlantis Resort. If you want to have access to the pools, beaches, water park, underground aquarium, the Atlantis Aquaventure and the Atlantis Aquaventure-Half Day are your best options. Lunch is included on the all-day excursion and available for purchase for the half-day. The water slides are designed for Guests over 48 inches so you'll want to take that into consideration when making your decision. There is a water playground area (Splashers) for those under 48" that includes smaller slides. The all-day runs 4-6 hours while the half-day is 3.  If you are just interested in enjoying the beach, the Atlantis Beach Day and Discover Atlantis and the Atlantis Beach Day and Discover Atlantis-Half Day are both worth checking out. They also include time to explore The Dig, the replica archeological site and the marine life habitat at the resort.

Car seats will not be needed when you head ashore because they are not supported by the transportation used in the foreign ports of call.

Please let us know if we can help further!
