We are family of 4 on the deluxe dining plan (3 over 10 and 1 under 9). Does everyone needs use a meal entitlement at a table service restaurant when we eat together(except for buffet)? Just in case someone isn’t hungry and don’t want to waste a credit!

    Bonjour Chia!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a Disney Dining Plan is a must for my family. We love to try as many as we can of all the dining options available to us while visiting. Plus, you can typically find me with a Mickey shaped treat in hand.

While enjoying a meal entitlement from your Deluxe Dining Plan at a Table Service restaurant, those who do not eat do not need to use a meal entitlement. I have noticed though, even when my Mouseketeers say they aren’t hungry once we sit at the restaurant they are suddenly starving and ready to eat. So as it turns out, everyone always orders something every time we sit down to enjoy a meal. There’s plenty to eat when on a Disney Dining Plan, I find that without intentionality saving entitlements, we still have extra on the last day of our trip!

Keep in mind, when you are making dining reservations for your party, be sure to include every person who will be present even if they are not eating. This helps the restaurant make sure there is a table large enough for your party!

    Bon Appétit!
