    Melissa from MI Asked

My family will be there in just 23 more days! My daughter is 13 years old and is listed on all the paperwork as a "child". While dining, will she have to order from the kids menu or the adults? Thank you for your time!

    Welcome home, Melissa!

Thank you for visiting the Moms and Dads of the Disney Parks Moms Panel and for sending us your great question about Walt Disney World Resort dining!

Your vacation is quickly approaching and you are doing such a great job pre-planning your vacation. Your family must be so excited!

Because your daughter is over the age of 9, she is not considered a child at Walt Disney World Resort Restaurants. Your daughter will order from the adult menu, not the children’s menu. The children’s menu is reserved for children 3-9 years of age.

Mom’s Tip: My family loves Disney Character Dining! Have you reserved any Character Dining experiences? I think your Princess would love 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. For a full list of Character Dining experiences please visit this link.

Melissa, I wish you an unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Please visit us again if you have any more questions.
