With a family of 4, can we customize 3 magic bands, declining one from resort package and buy a character one, to link up later or should that family member just have 2? Thanks for your help!

    Hey, Jamie!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another one of your fantastic questions! I hope that you continue to visit us and send us your questions as you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

For your party of four Guests, you can customize three MagicBands only and then link a Retail MagicBand for your 4th Guest. When customizing your MagicBands it is very simple to decline any that you do not wish to receive.

Your family member can also have two MagicBands if they wish to do so. I have over 20 MagicBands for myself and my daughter currently active in my Disney account! I love having multiple colors to choose from.

Mom’s Quick Tip: If you choose to have two MagicBands for your family member, they will both automatically include all ticket, FastPass+ and reservation information on them as long as you don’t deactivate them in your My Disney Experience account. This means that your family member can use both MagicBands during their vacation.

Jamie, I hope you have a magical vacation. If you have any more questions about MagicBands or anything else before your Walt Disney World Resort visit, please visit me again.

    With Lots of Disney Magic,
