Hi! Our family will be cruising in the Disney Dream in June 2019. My husband and I want to try the Petites Assiettes de Remy (if it’s offered). How long does it take? Will we be able to dine with our kids at second service?

    Hi Kimberly!

How exciting that you have booked a magical sailing on the Disney Dream. If you haven't already had the opportunity to dine at Remy, I assure you, that you are in for an unbelievable experience!  My mouth is watering just thinking about your visit!   Petites Assiettes de Remy is a wonderful way to sample some of the most outstanding culinary delights on board.  This is a six course sampling of "tiny plates" lead by Remy's executive chef and sommelier.  This event, when offered, is generally hosted soon after the mandatory guest assembly drill (which is generally at or about 4 o'clock in the afternoon).  If you are scheduled for the second dining seating, there should be no concern with you being finished in time to dine with your family following this event.

One of the reasons that keeps drawing my family to Disney Cruise Line is the magnificent dining options and the fact that everyone in my party, from my super picky sons to my "foodie" self is generally overwhelmed by the number of choices available.  Whether grabbing a quick slice of pizza or burger on the deck, enjoying a romantic adult-only meal, or ordering from the complimentary room service menu, the food is outstanding.  Have a delicious cruise!

    Bon voyage!
