Our family will be coming to WDW for the first time in October. We have the Disney Dining Plan. We would really like to eat at Be Our Guest. If we are able to have lunch there, would it count as one of our quick service meals or one of our table meals?

    Hi Shannah!

I just love eating at the Be Our Guest Restaurant in New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom!  I have eaten 9 lunches and 2 dinners there since it opened (my last lunch there was last week)! The Be Our Guest Restaurant is a Counter Service or Quick Service restaurant for lunch and a Table Service Restaurant for dinner.  If you are going to the Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch, a typical wait time is around 30 to 45 minutes to get in and order your food (without FastPass+), but once you order, find a table, and get your beverages, the food is usually at your table already. My best tip would be to take an early lunch around 10:30 am to 11:30 am so you can have a shorter wait time because the line and wait time builds nearer to the normal lunch time. One of the other benefits of eating lunch at the Be Our Guest Restaurant is that you typically get to pick the room that you want to eat lunch in and after lunch you can walk around to explore the other rooms too! So if you are going there for lunch and you have a Disney DIning Plan then you could use a Quick Service Disney Dinning Credit or you could pay with cash.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
